Practice Description:
Center for Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice. For mediation we do intake and case development by phone. Generally case development is done by one of the mediators and is comprehensive. We use co-mediation model. In Youth and Family mediation we use a younger and older mediator. We do individual caucuses when appropriate and offer free consultations.
Approach to Practice / Form of Mediation:
Background:
Education / Training:
All mediators have taken a Basic Mediation Training that meets Oregon Department of Justice requirements. Resolve offers this training twice a year. The co-mediation model allows for a team of mediators where one is a mentor and the other may be less experienced. Often clients have the benefit of two highly experienced mediators.
Fee Information:
Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. There is no fee for those whose household income is under $15,000 annually. No one is denied services because of an inability to pay. Please call for fees on Conflict management trainings. Fundamentals of Mediation Training is $595.
