Background:
She first became interested in the field of divorce in graduate school, publishing research on the effects of divorce on young adults. Dr. Gabardi is also author of The Quick Guide to Co-Parenting After Divorce: Three Steps to Your Children’s Healthy Adjustment. Dr. Gabardi has presented on the topic of co-parenting at the Oregon chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Educational Forum. Her most recent contributions to the field are a guided meditation specifically designed for those going through divorce, Divorce Meditations for Healing and Growth™, and an educational video series on how to talk to your children about the divorce, "The Talk": A Caring and Confident Approach to Telling the Kids About Your Plan to Separate or Divorce™.”
