Practice Description:
Robin Stedfeld is the primary mediator and conflict coach for Stedfeld Mediation Services. Stedfeld Mediation Services provides mediation and conflict coaching for almost any type of dispute or decision in a business, organization, or family. We also contract with public agencies and businesses to provide training, conflict coaching, and mediation.
Approach to Practice / Form of Mediation:
Mediation is an effective process for resolving issues that people can’t work out on their own. My job is to lead you step-by-step toward mutual understanding of the issues, and help you generate new, practical options for resolving your differences. Once you decide together on a plan that satisfies all of you, I write it in clear, straightforward language. You can use mediation whether or not you have an attorney.
Background:
I am a court-connected Domestic Relations mediator with Union, Wallowa, Baker and Umatilla County Circuit Courts. I have volunteered in community and small claims mediation, and led training of new mediators in the Basic Mediation course. I adhere to the Professional Standards and Practices of the Oregon Mediation Association.
Education / Training:
Master of Arts in Counseling and Personnel Services
Over 200 additional hours of training in mediation and conflict resolution.
Fee Information:
You are invited to contact me at Stedfeld Mediation Services to talk confidentially about your needs. There is no charge when you call to get information on mediation, conflict coaching, and other dispute resolution alternatives in the community.
