Practice Description:
County-sponsored Community Mediation Program. Our staff and volunteers help people resolve conflicts involving neighbors, landlords and tenants, co-workers, employers and employees, citizens and government, consumers and merchants, families and friends. We provide a process that is safe, confidential and predictable. We normally use co-mediators, individual caucuses when appropriate, and close the session with a written agreement. Follow-up and further assistance is provided when needed. We offer facilitation and conflict resolution services for organizations, businesses, schools and communities. Training is an integral part of our program and includes all aspects of conflict resolution, mediation, collaborative-based problem-solving and cross-cultural communication. Our training staff is recognized both nationally and internationally.
